Google Year in Search 2014 2015

Google is marking a year of internet searching with “Google – Year in Search 2014”, a 90 second video on the Google YouTube channel. “In 2014 we searched trillions of times. What do these searches say about us?” Footage includes . Viewers are encouraged to explore the Year in Search at, follow the conversation on #YearInSearch, and watch the past year in search videos. Three American entertainers who died in 2014 are singled out: Joan Rivers, Maya Angelou and Robin Williams.

The 2014 Google site includes insights into German hopes for a world record at FIFA World Cup in Brazil, focus on US snowboarder Shaun White at the Sochi Olympics, concern about the Ebola epidemic, the search for Flight MH370, conflicts in Ukraine, Nigeria, Israel, Palestine, Syria and Iraq, the Pistorius trial, the sinking of MV Sewol, the Scotland independence referendum, the shooting of Michael Brown, Dallas Buyers Club actors, and Eurovision Song Contest 2014 winner Conchita West.
